Wanted Mays Landing Man Found With Loaded Gun While Speeding In Atlantic City: Police A wanted man was accused of having a loaded gun and brass knuckles in Atlantic City, authorities said. Naji Hart, 24, of Mays Landing, was arrested on Saturday, May 11, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. He was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of hollow-point ammunition, and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Missing NYC Man Identified From Human Remains Found In South Jersey Woods: Prosecutors A New York City man missing for more than a decade has been identified from human remains found in Atlantic County, authorities said. Kevin Morris was recently identified from the remains discovered in Galloway Township on Monday, June 7, 2021, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Monday, May 13. He was reported missing at 32 years old in Staten Island in October 2011. The skeletal remains were found in the woods at 187 South Pomona Avenue. Volunteer Fire Chief In Egg Harbor Township Dies, Remembered For 'Selfless' Community Service A volunteer fire chief has died after serving Atlantic County for more than three decades, officials said. Cardiff fire Chief Gil Zonge "answered his final alarm" on Saturday, May 11, the volunteer company in Egg Harbor Township said in a Facebook post. His age and cause of death were not given. Off-Road Motorcyclist Crashes In Woods, Breaks Leg In Barnegat A man was airlifted to a hospital after his off-road motorcycle crashed in the woods in Ocean County, authorities said. Barnegat police responded to a wooded area between Warren Grove Road and Route 72 at around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, the department said in a Facebook post. Investigators said a 52-year-old man hit an exposed root and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was rushed by helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The motorcyclist suffered a broken femur and was listed in stable condition at the Neptune hospital.

Manchester Woman Airlifted After SUV Hits Tree, Catches On Fire: Police An Ocean County woman was airlifted to a hospital after her SUV hit a tree in a fiery crash, authorities said. Manchester Township police responded to the wreck on South Hope Chapel Road near Ridge Avenue at around 2:48 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, the department said in a news release. Truck Driver Killed In Crash On Garden State Parkway In Galloway An Ocean County man was killed when his tractor-trailer went off the Garden State Parkway in Atlantic County, authorities said. Brian Ross, 60, of Brick Township, died in the crash on Thursday, May 9, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck near milepost 43.3 on the Garden State Parkway North in Galloway at around 12:05 p.m. Investigators said Ross's Kenworth tractor-trailer went off the parkway and crashed into several trees. He was pronounced dead at the scene. State police are investigating the crash.
