Murder-suicide: Police ID Husband, Wife Found Dead In Penn Township Home Police have identified the couple found dead in what they say was a murder-suicide in a Lancaster County home early Wednesday, April 10. Mark E. Shepherd, 71, shot his wife Diane L. Shepherd, 63, and then himself in their home on the 300 block of Sun Hill Road in Penn Township, bringing police to the scene just after 4 a.m., Northern Lancaster County Regional Police said. Windsor Mill Woman, 37, Killed By Wrong-Way Driver In I-695 Police Pursuit (Update) Police have identified the innocent driver killed by a wrong-way car thief during a police pursuit on I-695 earlier this week. Dimeka Thornton, 37, of Windsor Mill, was operating an Acura TSX when she was struck by a driver in a stolen car in the outer loop, on the ramp to Exit 18 to Liberty Road around 12:15 a.m. Monday, April 8, the Maryland Attorney General's Office said in a release. Two Entrapped, Five Hospitalized In Clifton Fire Five people were hospitalized in a Fairfax County fire on Wednesday morning, April 10, responders said. The blaze broke out on the 13900 block of Whetstone Manor Court in Clifton around 10:15 a.m., the county fire department said. Two people were trapped inside the home where heavy flames were reported. Two occupants were removed from the home and seriously injured. Three others were hospitalized, too, police said.

William Riddell, 40, of Chantilly, was arrested in Kansas on March 30, the Fairfax County Police Department said.
