RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Mayor Paul Aronsohn and council member Gwenn Hauck recently were honored by the Shared Housing Association for Ridgewood & Environs Inc. during an exclusive Realtor Open House.
Aronsohn and Hauck were recognized for their dedication to empowering local seniors and their families and to promoting aging in place.
The event was hosted by SHARE Advisory Board Chair Debby Crane of Re/Max Properties. More than 20 area Realtors attended the event, which was at SHARE’s 104 Cottage Place residence in Ridgewood.
Staff and board members of the New Jersey nonprofit organization were on hand to conduct tours and discuss the benefits of its affordable, shared residences for independent seniors who are looking to downsize or seeking the services and socialization that community living offers.
