Swastika Painted On Ridgewood Resident's Wall, Detectives Investigating

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ridgewood detectives were seeking the public's help finding whoever was responsible for drawing a swastika and a figure of a person smoking in chalk on a wall.

Police called to the home at the corner of Shelton Road and Pershing Avenue found the graffiti and collected photos as evidence, Police Chief Jacqueline Luthcke told Daily Voice.

The property owner said he believed the vandalism occurred sometime last Friday or Saturday, Luthcke said.

The graffiti was washed from the wall.
