RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Thirty-four firefighters from around New Jersey, including Ridgewood, are suing the makers of a fire truck siren, claiming the decibel used causes hearing loss, reported NJ.com.
More than 34 firefighters in Elizabeth, Linden, Bayonne, Union, Ridgewood, Kearny, Cranford, and West New York filed the lawsuit in federal court on Friday. Each firefighter is seeking $150,000 in damages, said NJ.com.
