Police were on the lookout after Betsy -- a life-sized fiberglass sheep -- went missing from in front of Healthy Choice Organic Mattresses in Ridgewood on Monday.

Daily Voice published a story about the disappearance, in the hopes someone would return her.

Store Manager Dave Stadt said he'd left Betsy outside overnight.

It turns out a fellow merchant "spotted her in front of the store around midnight and brought her to her salon," he told Daily Voice on Wednesday."You know that belongs around the corner," a customer who saw Betsy in the salon the next day told the merchant, Stadt said."I guess you could say she was borrowed," he said. "We're just glad to have her back."
