RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Paul Bonazzi, of Ridgewood, died suddenly Aug 2. He was 68.
He was born March 18, 1948. He grew up in Hicksville, N.Y. and is a graduate of the University of Akron.
He loved working with cars and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
After a long career with Mercedez Benz, he became a consultant in the automobile industry.
He is survived by his children, Paul Bonazzi and Melissa Bonazzi Avery; his longtime companion, Quyen Chung; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Kathy Bonazzi; son-in-law, Chris Avery; daughter-in-law, Rachel Bonazzi; grandchildren, Jackson and Lila Avery and Jake and Brett Bonazzi; an aunt, Jean Stanchi of Monroe; and many cousins.
Visiting hours will be from 3-6:30 p.m. Thursday followed from 6:30-7 p.m. by a memorial service at C.C.Van Emburgh Funeral Home.
