Until Oct. 29, the only form of campaigning either way on the proposal were signs around town that said: "Vote Yes November 3rd."SEE: Proponents: Ridgewood Multi-Deck Parking Makes Sense 'On Many Levels'

Village officials do not know who issued the flier, Mayor Paul Aronsohn told Daily Voice during Halloween festivities in Van Neste Square. He and Village Manager Roberta Sonenfeld spent the afternoon answering residents' questions about the proposal..

A non-binding referendum question this Tuesday, Nov. 3, will ask village voters whether they support a multi-million dollar bond issue to pay for the garage. If the majority supports the move, the Village Council will have a month to decide what to do.
