RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The Ridgewood Library honored Board of Trustees president John Johansen at its holiday party for his 5+ years of service to the institution.

Johansen announced that he will step down when his term expires at the end of the year. In his time on the Board, he has served as the treasurer and then as president for the past 3 years.

Deputy Mayor Al Pucciarelli praised Johansen for his service, and Mayor Paul Aronsohn cited Johansen’s commitment during the lean years of the Library budget.

Library Director Nancy Greene thanked Johansen for his strong support and leadership and presented him with a parting gift of Library photos through the years.
