HACKENSACK, N.J. — A Hackensack basketball player might not be playing for the NCAA after all.
Jahvon Quinerly, a Hudson Catholic point guard committed to Arizona, appears to be the player given money from agents through Arizona men’s basketball assistant Emanuel “Book" Richardson, azcentral.com reports.
Richardson is among the four NCAA assistant basketball coaches arrested by the FBA in a corruption and bribery scheme, the U.S. Department of Justice announced.
Quinerly is facing a potential suspension throughout his freshman season, and may not be playing at all, the article says.
