Dan Cermac agreed to be taped to a column in the cafeteria if students paid $1 to purchase a pink piece of duct tape to secure him there.

The lunchtime shenanigans capped off the school's 10-year anniversary of its month-long breast cancer awareness campaign for the Avon Foundation.

"We tried to connect everything we did this month to breast cancer awareness," said BFMS Guidance Counselor David Tashian, who helped organize the school-wide Pink Out on Oct. 16 that had a 98% participation rate.

"But of course," Tashian said, "it was fun to see a teacher taped to the wall."
