RIEDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Representatives from all district schools in Ridgewood recently participated in a meeting about security assessment.
Superintendent of Schools Daniel Fishbein headed the program, along with representatives from the Ridgewood Police Department and Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
Agent William J. Stallone of BCPO along with RPD Chief John Ward and Captain Det. Forest Lyons discussed security assessments and risk mitigation process updates. The session was part of the town's ongoing partnership designed to enhance school safety.
Stallone is the county's Risk Mitigation Planner and works in conjunction with the state's Department of Homeland Security. He has been working closely with RPD as part of the community-wide critical vulnerability and infrastructure weakness assessment.
