Oktoberfest Aids Ridgewood Education Foundation

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The Ridgewood Education Foundation will host an Oktoberfest fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Hermitage in Ho-Ho-Kus.

The event will feature live music from Ridgewood Dad's Night Band. There will also be German food and live and silent auctions.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the foundation.

The foundation invites the Ridgewood community to attend or donate or sponsor the event. For information on tickets and donating, visit www.foundationoktoberfest.com.

The Ridgewood Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising private funds to support broad innovative learning initiatives throughout the Ridgewood school district, according to a release from the Foundation.

The foundation has donated more than $950,000 through grants that fund major academic initiatives as well as classroom grants touching all levels of students from the elementary schools to high schools, the release said.
