The Fairfield Avenue resident called police after he found the small, clear plastic bag filled with marijuana in his mailbox on Saturday, authorities said Tuesdsay.
Moments earlier, he said, he saw a gray Ford Explorer parked in front of his house and heard his mailbox open and close.
Village police seized the pot. They were investigating.
