Ridgewood Police Converge On Accused Garage Burglar

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — The Ridgewood Police Department arrested and charged an Englewood man with criminal trespassing while responding to reports of a possible garage burglary.

On June 4, patrol units responded to a house on North Van Dien Avenue on, where the homeowner told police they saw someone on the second floor of their detached garage, according to police.

Patrol entered the garage and arrested the 32-year-old male from Englewood and transported him to headquarters, police said

He was served with a criminal complaint and released with a pending court date, according to authorities.
