Fraudster Contractor Arrested In Bucks County, Authorities Say A fraudster has been arrested in Bucks County after police said he scammed a client out of money. Walter Charles Porter Jr. accepted a payment for hardscape work in April 2021 under "Walts Outdoor Living Spaces," Bedminster police said. As of April 2024, Porter never completed the work, nor did he provide, materials or a refund to the victims when asked multiple times over the years, police said. Porter was charged with home improvement fraud, deceptive business practices, theft, and receiving stolen property. He was arraigned with bail set at $100,000 and is barred from having any contact…

Thief Steals Minivan With 11-Year-Old Girl Inside In Philadelphia, Police Say An 11-year-old girl was inside of her family minivan when a car thief stole it in Philadelphia, police said. A 24-year-old man took the blue Honda Odyssey with the girl inside at 2600 N 16th St., around 1:35 p.m. Saturday, June 1, police said. The girl and the vehicle were safely recovered at 3200 Randolph Street. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. There were no injuries to the girl. Police said further details were expected to be released.

Police responding to reports of a crash on Easton Avenue near DeMott Lane in Franklin Township found a crashed motorcycle around 12:15 a.m. Saturday, June 1, Franklin Township Police Lt. Vincent T.
