RIDGEWOOD, N.J. – Robert Joseph Brown, a resident of Ridgewood, died Wednesday, March 2. He was 90.
Brown was a graduate of the Wharton School of Business. Prior to his retirement, he was the Vice President of Risk Management for Bangor Punta, and Director of Insurance and Benefits for Grand Union. He was an active volunteer for 20 years at the Center for Food Action in Mahwah. He was in World War II with the Navy Seabees from 1943 to 1946.
He is survived by his wife Linda Goetze; children Scott and wife Jane; Stacey; step children Jennifer and husband Stefon; Lisa and husband Steve; and grandchildren DJ, Emily and Alayna.
All services will be private.
