RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Gino Thomas Nepola, of Ho-Ho-Kus, died Aug. 15. He was 98.
Born March 11, 1918, in Manhattan, he grew up in Staten Island with his family. He attended Dewitt Clinton High School and was a graduate of New York University, where he was president of his class and New York University Law School.
He founded EastAir Corporation of Hackensack and was world-renowned as an aerospace entrepreneur.
He is survived by his three sons, James and his wife Cathy of Iowa City, Iowa, Thomas of Ho-Ho-Kus and John and his wife Kristin of Ho-Ho-Kus.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, 1 Passaic St., Ridgewood Burial will be in Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at C. C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 E. Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood.
