Beloved Ramsey Chef Succumbs To Cancer

RAMSEY, N.J. — Chef and owner of Local Seasonal Kitchen in Ramsey died Wednesday, Aug. 30 at his home in Orangeburg, New York, according to multiple reports. He was 60 years old.

More than $11,000 had been raised as of Wednesday on a GoFundMe page for Santoro, who was forced to close his restaurant following his diagnosis of spinal cancer.

The acclaimed chef was also a loved instructor at the Culinary Institute of America.
