RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Barbara A. Piejak, of Ridgewood, died on Tuesday, Sept. 6. She was 72.
Piejak was a graduate of Rockland School of Nursing, and she worked in the nursing profession until she retired. She was also a longtime volunteer for the American Diabetes Association.
She is survived by her sister Carol and her husband Robert Coughlin, and she was predeceased by her parents, Emil and Victoria Piejak.
Visiting hours will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home, in Ridgewood. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Church of the Nativity, in Midland Park. Interment will be at Maryrest Cemetery, in Mahwah.
