More than 600 bears were killed in this season's North Jersey bear hunt.

A total of 636 were harvested this year, with 64 coming from Passaic County and only 3 from Bergen, according to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

A beloved bipedal bear from Bloomingdale was killed in October.

The two-week bow hunt took place for one week in October and one week in December.
