Six Candidates File To Change Faces Of Ridgewood Government

RIDGEWOOD, N.J.– The new faces of Ridgewood government will come from among six candidates challenging for three, four-year terms in Ridgewood's May 10 non-partisan election.

They will appear on the ballot in this order: Jeffery Voigt; Janice M. Willett; Evan Weitz; Bernadette Coghlan-Walsh; Richard S. Brooks; and Ramon M. Hache.

Mayor Paul Aronsohn, Deputy Mayor Albert Pucciarelli and Councilwoman Gwenn Hauck will not seek re-election.

Coghlan-Walsh previously served on the village council. The rest are political newcomers.

Voigt serves on Ridgewood's zoning board. Willett and Weitz are on the financial advisory committee. 

Brooks is the chair of the village's Parks, Recreation and Conservation Board.
