Legion Post Donates Bus To Paramus Vets Home

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Members of American Legion Post 162 of Hillsdale, Woodcliff Lake and Old Tappan officially donated its third bus to the Paramus Veterans Home this past week.

The bus purchase and donations was made possible by the donations of various veteran and service organizations and further abetted by "the many caring and generous communities throughout Bergen County," Past Commander Zoltan Horvath told Dailiy Voice.

"A most special 'Thank you' with deserved kudos and accolades to County Commander Bob Salvini of Post 170, who through his tireless efforts and leadership made this momentous project possible," he added.

Attendees included Commander Phill Langner, Mayor of Hillsdale and Vice Commandder Doug Frank and Horvath.
