Joaquin Will Stay At Sea, But Rain Will Linger In Ridgewood

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J.. — While the threat of Hurricane Joaquin hitting land along the East Coast is over as the storm heads out to sea, Bergen County still is going to deal with rain for most of the weekend, according to the latest accuweather.com models.

Conditions won't clear up until Sunday evening, as the forecast is set to be partly cloudy but dry after noon.

Drizzle is in the forecast for the rest of Saturday and Sunday morning, as temperatures will hover from a Saturday low of 48 degrees to a Sunday high of 59 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

As for Joaquin, Bermuda will get a serious amount of rain and wind Sunday night as the hurricane will pass roughly about 150 miles off the island's shore.
