PATERSON, N.J. — City rapper Fetty Wap was involved in a dispute that led to a shooting injuring three people Sunday, NorthJersey.com reports.
Officers responding at 5:10 a.m. to a shots-fired call in the area of Montclair Avenue and Paxton Street found one of the victims, 34, with a gunshot wound in the leg, Police Director Jerry Speziale said.
A second victim, 37, was found about three blocks away with a gunshot wound in the torso, he said.
Both were taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, the director said.
Soon after, Hackensack University Medical Center reported that a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound had arrived at its trauma center for treatment.
Authorities were trying to determine whether the victim brought to HUMC was related to the shootings that Fetty Wap was said to be tied to.
