OAKLAND, N.J. — Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc. in Oakland is urging community members to consider adoption as the no-kill shelter is overrun with dozens of animals rescued from recent hoarding cases, NorthJersey.com reports.
RBARI took in 45 cats and dogs from hoarding cases just in the past 5 months, 12 of them from a Jersey Shore home where 276 dogs were found living in squalor, NorthJersey.com said.
The shelter also took in 13 dogs and cats found among 50 living in a North Bergen home, along with 15 cats rescued from a Woodcliff Lake residence, NorthJersey.com reports.
