Watch For Ridgewood Girl, 7, In Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — A 7-year-old Ridgewood girl will be performing during the Broadway part of Thursday morning's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

Christie Kim, 7, of Ridgewood, made her Broadway debut at age 6 as part of the original cast of the "King & I revival. She has performed as part cast at the 69th Tony Awards, "Live with Kelly & Michael" and now Macy's 2016 Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Christie Kim and the "The King and I" company — including Tony Award-winner Kelli O'Hara — will hit the screen between 9 and 10 a.m. on NBC.

Kim made her debut at 6-years-old an ensemble member in Lincoln Center’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s popular musical in April. 

She is the youngest active cast member on Broadway and in the show, her mother, Hyun-Ju Kwak said.
