  • ABOUT GRACE

At six months old, Grace, was diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdiod Tumor (ATRT). An extremely rare, very difficult to treat pediatric brain tumor. The 2-year-old has already completed 5 rounds of chemotherapy, 1 stem cell harvest and 3 stem cell rescues. She is currently receiving maintenance chemo.

Grace has endured a many setbacks, like a subdural hematoma, shunt revision, additional shunt placement, bacteremia, viral infections and a PICC reinsertion.

During Grace’s multiple surgeries and chemotherapies, she has received 20 blood transfusions, and 20 platelet transfusions.

  • ABOUT ALEX

Alex was diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma the day before Thanksgiving 2016. He was recently made honorary detective by the NYPD.

The 4-year-old is currently being treated at Hackensack Children's Hospital. He has been through multiple rounds of heavy chemotherapy and has had many platelet and red cell transfusions along the way.

Alex is in remission, although his treatment will last another 2 years or so. T-cell lymphoma is a very aggressive cancer so just as easy as it went away, is as easy as it can come back.
