John Aramian of Local Diving TV has opened enrollment for New Jersey Film Academy to children ages 10 to 18.

The camp will run from June 27 through August 11 at the Ridgewood Lutheran Church.

“[Camp] will give children a chance to express themselves a little bit,” said Aramian, who began profiling small eateries on his online television series last year. “It won’t be too serious. I want to give them a chance to have fun.”

Children ages 10 to 14 will learn “lighter” techniques such as filming music videos or game shows on their cell phones and iPads, the videographer said.

The older campers can expect to dabble in creating a documentary of their own and possibly a public service announcement.
