RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- In an effort to help preserve the village’s history for future generations, the Ridgewood Public Library has launched an oral history project.
The library is recording people’s stories, making them available at the library’s website and maintaining them in its local archive.
The project is funded from a grant through the Bergen County Historical and Cultural Affairs Department.
Those interested in being interviewed can contact Local History Librarian Sarah Kiefer by phone at 201-670- 5600, ext. 135, or by email at HeritageCenter@ridgewoodlibrary.org.
