RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The Ridgewood Department of Parks and Recreation is offering an array of summer activities, from golfing and pony-riding to skateboarding and a mini science camp.

Many options are available to non-residents as well. Here are the various camps and other activities:

  • summer day camp, for grades 1-6
  • three different types of pony camps, for kids as young as 3

sports camps

  • tennis instruction, for preschoolers through adults
  • tennis camp, for first grade and up
  • two different multi-sport camps, one for 5- to 12-years, one for 3- to 5-year-olds
  • golf with Skyhawks, for grades 1-6
  • skateboarding camps, for grades 1-6

STEAM camps

  • arts and crafts mini camps, for grades 2-8
  • animation camp, for grades 2-6
  • transportation engineering, for grades K-4
  • "Make, Create and Celebrate," for grades K-4
  • "Explore Science" mini camp, for grades K-5
