Money from the book sale will go toward grants for women attending a four-year college or university. The sale not only raises a large portion of the money used for the grants but also provides a wonderful resource for the community, said College Club official Whitney Klein.
The schedule for the book fair is: Thursday, April 14, 4-8 p.m ($20 admission); Friday, April 15, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (no charge); Saturday, April 16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (no charge); and Sunday, April 17, 10 a.m. to noon (half-price sale) and noon to 2 p.m.( fill a bag for $5.)
Come peruse the wide variety of books, including coffee table books, children's books, cooking, art, gardening and design books, large print books, curio books, special first editions, signed books, books on tape, CDs, movies and, of course, hundreds of mysteries, novels and current bestsellers (2009-15) in hardcover and paperback.
