RIDGEWOOD, N.J. – People decked out in red, white and blue lined the streets of Ridgewood Monday to take part in the village's popular Fourth of July parade.

Law enforcement officials, bands, schools and more marched through the village Monday. The parade draws thousands from around Bergen.

The 106th Annual Fourth of July Celebration parade in Ridgewood honored the anniversary of the National Park Service. This year's parade theme of “America the Beautiful – "Celebrating 100 Years of our National Parks" — honored the passing of the Organic Act of 1916 originated by President Theodore Roosevelt and signed by President Woodrow Wilson.

The Fourth of July festivities will continue in Ridgewood Monday with fireworks.
