RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Health Barn Culinary School obtained all of the required approvals to open its new location in Ridgewood.
At the Barn, children and grown-ups learn how to grow their own fruits and vegetables and make the best choice at the supermarket or in a restaurant.
Stacey Antine had been holding year-round youth programs at the Abma's Farm in Wyckoff since 2005. The program is moving to house at Habernickel Family Park on Hillcrest Road. The house will have a demonstration kitchen, three main classrooms, outdoor cooking patio, a child-production garden and a handicapped bathroom.
"We are excited to announce our new home beginning April 2016 at 1057 Hillcrest Road, Ridgewood, NJ with our spring programs," the organization wrote on its website. "We are grateful to our families for their continued support and commitment to living a healthy-lifestyle."
