Glen Rock Moms Hope Drive Will Warm Feet, Hearts

GLEN ROCK, N.J. — A group of moms in Glen Rock are hoping their sock drive will warm the feet and hearts of those in need this holiday season.

A holiday sock drive for Eva's Place in Paterson will be running between December 17 and 27 at 61 Main St., in Glen Rock.

"Socks are among the most needed items at homeless shelters, yet among the least-often donated," the moms said in a press release.

"Because of the shortage, the nation's homeless population is constantly at risk of serious foot disease and -- during winter months -- in severe danger posed by the cold."
