RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — More than 200 soccer players of all levels will unite on one field on Saturday to aid Ridgewood mother and Marine Corps veteran Amy McCambridge battling health complications.

Ridgewood High School’s men and women’s teams will go head-to-head on Super Soccer Saturday beginning at 10 a.m., on the field.

The day honors the more than 200 youth and high school players and their families who will gather to celebrate the game.

Six high school teams will play rivals continuously until 9 p.m. A parade of the youth players, accompanied by varsity teams, will flow onto the field during the pregame ceremonies.

Proceeds from sponsorships and from food and merchandise sales will help support both the men’s and women’s soccer programs, along with McCambridge.
