RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- If you like to celebrate Halloween with spooky adventures, join the Ridgewood Historical Society for a stroll through Valleau Cemetery, lit only by lanterns.
This family event also features music, Halloween stories and locally produced cider and donuts.
The stroll and after-party in the Schoolhouse Museum will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, rain or shine. Meet at the museum to join the twilight walk, where soldiers and early settlers will tell you their tales.
Tickets for the historic cemetery stroll are $10 for adults, $5 for children and $20 per family with advance reservations; at the door $15 for adults, $5 for children and $25 per family. Children must be accompanied by adults, and the society recommends it is best for kids 7-13. The Schoolhouse Museum is at 650 E. Glen Ave.
