Ridgewood High School Jazz Lab To Play Dinner Concert

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- "Jazz in the Wood," a jazz dinner concert, is coming to Ridgewood on Friday, May 13 -- but the registration deadline is Friday, May 6.

Saxophonist Mark Friedman will be a guest performer at the dinner concert.

The Ridgewood High School Band Association and the Woman's Club of Ridgewood are partnering to bring this concert, which will feature the RHS Jazz Lab and Big Band, with special guest saxophonist Mark Friedman.

Friedman has toured, performed and recorded with a variety of greats, including Frank Sinatra, Tito Puente, Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin.

Adult and teen tickets are $40, and the meal includes a three-course gourmet meal, with an entree choice of chicken or pasta. Tickets for kids 12 and under includes a dinner of chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and salad. There are also vegetarian and gluten-free options.

There will be seatings at both 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The event will be at the Woman's Club, 215 West Ridgewood Ave., in Ridgewood. You can buy tickets online, here.
