Read To A Dog At The Ridgewood Public Library

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Kids can practice their reading out loud skills at the library's Read to a Dog program this fall.

Starting at 4 p.m. on Sept. 3, readers and pre-readers can spend 15 minutes reading to Spud, a lovable puggle, and his owner. Pre-readers must be able to explain the events happening in a storybook, even if they are unable to read the words.

The program will be held throughout the month at the Ridgewood Public Library, 125 North Maple Ave.
