The run for Briana Lopez has been moved to Saturday, Oct. 29, due to the weather forecast. It has also been recently announced that Super Bowl legend Justin Tuck will be the race's grand marshal.

"When my friends complain about doing homework, I tell them to just be thankful," Briana said in a live interview on NBC's "Today Show" on Sept. 22.

Briana has been fighting leukemia for the past eight months, and her mother provided the bone marrow transplant that saved her life.

The tween wants to help raise awareness for children's cancer, and the family will donate part of the funds from the event to the Tomorrows Children's Fund of HUMC.

More than 200 participants are registered for the event. To sign up individually or as part of a team, click here. The online registration fee is $35, and it's $40 on race day.

You can also sign up to volunteer here, or donate directly to the event here.

Little kid and big kid races will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the main race will begin at 10. The start and finish line will be at Madonna Church, 359 Whiteman St., in Fort Lee.
