RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Come enjoy a lantern-lit walk through Valleau Cemetery with town historian Joe Suplicki on Friday, Oct. 28 -- "where 19th- and 20th-century soldiers and civilians come to life and tell their tales," organizers note.
"Back at the museum, the party continues with music, Halloween stories, and cider and donuts from Demarest Farms."
The walk is best suited for families with kids from 7-13, and all kids must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should also bring a flashlight.
With reservations, the cost is $10 per adult, $5 per child or $20 per family. At the door, it's $15 per adult, $5 per child or $25 per family.
"Space is limited, so reserve early," organizers note. Call the Schoolhouse Museum at 201-447-3242 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The walks will leave at 6, 6:30 and 7 p.m., rain or shine, from the Schoolhouse Museum, 650 Glen Ave., in Ridgewood.
