LODI, N.J. -- "Headlock on Veterans Homelessness" is coming to Lodi on Saturday, June 18.

Bergen County Veterans Services is partnering with Fundraiser Wrestling to present a night of wrestling to benefit the Tracers program, which works to fight veteran homelessness in Bergen County.

The event will feature former WWE/ECW star Nunzio and Fundraiser Wrestling Champion "Showtime" Shawn Sheridan, among many other stars who will make their wrestling debuts at the event.

Ticket donations start at just $10 for general admission. Second-row tickets are $15, and first-row tickets are $20. Get your tickets now by contacting the event coordinator at 201-580-6292 or via email at info@fundraiserwrestling.com. Tickets are expected to be sold out in advance of the event as they are on a first-come first-serve basis.

"Our goal is to completely eliminate veteran homelessness in the County of Bergen," said Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco. "These brave men and women have served their nation overseas. It is our obligation to serve them when they return home. This event is one of many ways we are looking to fundraise for that mission."

The Division of Veterans Services was established in 1977 to provide resident veterans and their dependents with information and assistance in obtaining earned entitlements from federal, state and local governments, as well as any that are available from the private sector. Its main goal is to advise veterans of their rights and the benefits available to them.

In 1993, the division launched Tracers, an all-volunteer group consisting of resident veterans. The goal of the program is to help every homeless veteran in Bergen County reach self-sufficiency.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club, 460 Passaic Ave., in Lodi.
